Four new cute plush characters in Carte Blanche Greetings’ My Blue Nose Friends series will hit the shelves on April 15, bringing the total collection up to 111. These latest arrivals are named Smoo the Cow, Comedy the Hyena, Spirit the Lemur and Twist the Snake.
The collectable brand’s popular Facebook page, which now has almost 50,000 likes, has been buzzing with anticipation as fans discuss the first new characters of 2013.
Carte Blanche Group launched My Blue Nose Friends in 2008 with five plush characters (all of which are proudly owned by G&G Review, along with one or two others!), each with its own unique number and personality. The brand quickly developed a loyal following and has expanded to include toys, larger plush sizes, figurines, stationery and gifting.
This summer, My Blue Nose Friends celebrates its fifth anniversary with the launch of four further Friends, as well as a host of fun consumer events for fans.
Catherine Lawrence, CBG Brand Manager, says the new plush characters are sure to capture fans’ imagination. ‘Smoo, Comedy, Spirit and Twist are super cute and very collectable,’ adds Catherine. ‘We’ve posted sneak preview pictures on our Facebook page, and the reaction has been fantastic. This is set to be a great year for Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends, as the brand goes from strength to strength in both the collectable and toy market.’
