Kitchen essentials including table cloths, placemats, table runners, oven gloves and aprons have been designed to create a wonderfully nostalgic Christmas feeling. Alongside the range of cushions and table linen, Portfolio Home has also launched a series of soft fleece throws and blankets with wonderfully rich colours and patterns that conjure up nostalgic festive memories.

Paul Callan, Managing Director at Portfolio Home said: “We know for many families around the UK, last year’s Christmas was a rather difficult one however this year, our insights tell us that many families will be coming together for long awaited Christmas celebrations – seizing every moment to spread the Christmas magic.” Portfolio Home reports that consumers will likely increase their spend on gifts and home décor to maximise the impact during the festive season with loved ones.

According to the Garden Centre Association, based on YoY October 2020 performance statistics*, gift sales had increased by 15.82% and Christmas sales increased by a substantial 26.74%. Paul Callan commented, “We’re delighted to launch this new range of beautiful Christmas products to Garden Centres and we’re confident that stocking these products will help Garden Centres offer a wider, more versatile range which will in turn increase sales through pent up consumer demand during what is one of the busiest trading periods of the year”.
