Hit humour brand Violent Veg has soared into the top twenty with its first ever CD release, making it another hit for brand owners Carte Blanche Greetings.
The album – Violent Veg – 40 Favourite Songs for Dad – reached No.17 in the compilation charts in the run up to Father’s Day.
Featuring a broad mix of tracks from rock and pop to mod and hip hop, the album was produced for Carte Blanche by iconic music label EMI. The track listing for the CD included favourites such as: Coldplay – Viva La Vida, The Buzzcocks – Ever Fallen in Love, Supergrass – Alright, The Jam – Town Called Malice and Fun Lovin’ Criminals – Scooby Snacks
