Artquirk – student led design for greetings cards at Top Drawer

Artquirk, a new greeting card publisher at Top Drawer, licenses its designs from current and graduate art and design students. Nicky Guest, former University lecturer set up Artquirk to showcase students work, provide them with work experience and pay them fairly for it.  She also talks to current students at colleges and universities, visits graduate shows in search of talent, then invites students to submit designs to Artquirk.

The mixed media cards are blank and Artquirk’s largely student-led style has emerged as tasteful, quirky, clean and youthful, reflecting current and future trends. Designs are humour led and cheery. Following the launch of a 60 card range in May, Artquirk has recently added 9 new designs.
