The Henries greeting card award winners revealed

Gifts and Greetings Review was pleased to attend the 16th annual UK greetings card awards, The Henries, which were held on Thursday October 13 at The Lancaster Hotel in London.

It was a lovely highlight of the evening when this year’s Honorary Achievement award was given to a towering creative force in the greetings world, artist and poet Giles Andreae, creator of the phenomenally successfully Purple Ronnie and Edward Monkton concepts. Very best wishes and congratulations Giles, the award is well deserved. The rest of the winners are as follows:

Best Giftwrapping Collection: Paper Salad, Glick (pictured)

Best Licensed Card Range: Collins Gem, Woodmansterne Publications

Best Wholesale Range: Isabel’s Garden, Simon Elvin

Best Christmas Box or Pack: Sparkling Ice, Five Dollar Shake

Best Handmade or Hand-Finished Range: Ribbon, Janie Wilson

Best Relations and/or Occasions Range: Occasions, The Art File

Best Retail Calendar: V&A John French Photography, Flame Tree Publishing

Best Word and Sentiments Range: Lettered, Urban Graphic

Best Christmas Counter Range: Rubies in the Snow, Five Dollar Shake
