Hallmark opens new shop at The Core in Leeds

Hallmark opened a new store in The Core shopping centre on Lands Lane in Leeds on Friday October 28, bringing the brand a total of 275 shop fronts.

The fresh store design showcases Hallmark’s exclusive collection of cards and gifts and also represents a new approach for Hallmark. Bob Harper, Head of the Hallmark Store Network commented:  “For over 100 years we’ve helped bring families together during key seasons and celebrations with greetings products that really hit home.

“As we move forward it’s imperative that we continue to do this, but it is also essential that we provide people with products that reflect their modern day to day relationships. That’s why, following extensive consumer research, we are launching our ‘life is a special occasion’ brand proposition along with innovative card and gift lines which enable customers to treat themselves and their loved ones throughout the year.

“It’s not just about celebrating life’s big occasions but the little ones too and these magical moments are exactly what we’re aiming to celebrate with our new store and innovative ranges.”

This new presence will allow the brand to showcase its wealth of card designs, including the exciting new Vintage collection from designer Wayne Hemmingway and the popular Bellissima range. The store will also stock Hallmark’s brand new gift collection which will include everything from scarfs and jewellery to recordable storybooks and the award winning Story Buddies; an interactive range of toys, exclusive to Hallmark Cards.
