New appointments at Gemma International

Gemma International, one of the UK’s premier suppliers of licensed greetings, has appointed Caroline Weaver as marketing manager and Sarah McNicholl as customer projects manager for the business.

The publisher, which has over 30 key licenses in its portfolio including Disney, Peppa Pig, Hello Kitty, & Moshi Monster,s is showing its commitment to growth with these two newly created positions.

Caroline has over eight years’ experience of building and developing brands, most recently as brand manager for Me to You at Carte Blanche. She has an in depth knowledge of the industry, managing brands across multiple categories including greetings, gifts and toy. In her new role at Gemma, Caroline will be focusing on developing the marketing strategy for Gemma’s impressive portfolio of characters on licensed greetings, gift packaging, party-ware, gift and stationery.

Speaking of her appointment, Caroline commented: “Gemma has a fantastic range of leading products combined with great licenses. It’s great to be joining this successful team at such an exciting time for the company. I’m really looking forward to working with the team on new product opportunities and marketing strategies.”

Sarah joins the company from UK Greetings where she worked for over 11 years on customer operations and brokerage partnerships. Sarah will be looking at customer service, sales support, category management and brokerage to ensure Gemma continues to provide customers with the highest level and quality of service.

Sarah :”I am extremely happy to have joined such a dynamic, progressive and people focused business, and cannot wait to play a part in Gemma’s continued success. This is such an exciting time for Gemma and I am really looking forward to the forthcoming challenges.”
