Ling acquires SWA Cards brand

Major British greetings card supplier Ling Design has announced it has acquired the brand name and Intellectual Property rights of SWA Cards from Sarah Warren Art, and now has exclusive distribution of rights of the design-led greetings card brand.

The chairman of Ling Julian Nash commented that the publisher was: “delighted to have been successful in securing the brand name of and intellectual property rights to SWA Cards from Sarah Warren Art Ltd, and are very proud to add Sarah’s beautiful cards to our portfolio and to the Ling family”.

Artist Sarah Warren has gone from strength to strength as a publisher of cards over the past few years, proving that the cream of beautiful design can’t help but rise to the top in the competitive UK market.
Once a painter of royal palaces in the Middle East, Sarah’s artwork is distinctive for its mystically evocative themes and lovely pearlescent finishes reminiscent of precious stones – all with a sprinkling of stardust!

Ling Design is one of the UK’s largest and well established suppliers of greetings cards and social stationery, selling in excess of 50,000,000 cards annually in 25 countries worldwide. The company is owned by greetings business angel Duncan Spence.
