Gifts & Greetings Review is delighted to announce that one of the country’s foremost Gift Wrapping experts, Jane Means, will be contributing to the Review and helping us to build up a colourful and vibrant Gift Wrapping category for readers.
Jane, who started a gift wrapping service while she was a florist in the mid 1990’s, has always loved adventure and creation, as evidenced by her beautifully original designs. After gaining her teaching certificate she started running Gift Wrapping workshops at her parents Lincolnshire watermill. Country Living Magazine did a small feature and within a year Jane and her team were wrapping gifts at the busy Country Living Fairs.
Despite being passionate about presentation, the gift wrapping business is very seasonal, so Jane decided to design her own range of ribbons which are now sold online and wholesale. She has recently filmed her first DVD ‘The Art of Gift Wrapping’ and has designed a ribbon collection for Liberty.
Regular clients include Selfridges, Crabtree and Evelyn, House of Fraser. She has worked for a well known French Fashion house throughout Europe, wrapped a gift for the Queen, worked at Highgrove and personally gift wrapped for various celebrities (She won’t disclose names!).
Jane has been featured in many glossy magazines and national newspapers, and regularly appears on radio and television and we’re very excited to have her on board with the GGR project, thank you Jane!
