The Giftware Association is rolling out its member to member voucher discount initiative at Spring Fair International 2013. The campaign will drive more business to suppliers who are exhibiting, while at the same time enabling retailers to get more for their money at the show.
A ‘soft launch’ of the scheme saw exhibitors at Autumn Fair and Top Drawer enjoy potential savings of £3000-plus, with a variety of discounts for members. Participating exhibitors have taken orders from both new and existing customers.
Offers included £70 of free stock on orders over £700; £50 off (worth £120 at retail) orders over £500; free carriage; 10% off orders over £500; free display (worth £144 RRP) with orders over £250; no minimum order; free delivery to UK mainland; free gift with every order; £45 off (worth £108 RRP) orders over £300.
The Spring Fair initiative will be heavily promoted before and during the show and suppliers taking part will pay a £50 fee for this and the production of their offer.
There will be an email campaign to retailers; printed vouchers to provide to retailers; prominent exposure on The GA website – pre Spring Fair and during the event – promotion in trade magazines, and point of sale and displays on The GA stand at the show.
Said The GA’s Stephanie Hale: “Our supplier members have already offered some fantastic deals to their GA counterparts in retail and we expect even more of them to seize this opportunity to drive more business to their stands at Spring Fair. It’s a win-win situation for all our members at the show.”
