Memory gift books and journals from Red Cherry Publishing

Red Cherry Publishing is a small family gift publishing business based in rural south Leicestershire that launched in November 2012 and will make its debut at Spring Fair International in 2013.

Available to the trade at Spring Fair will be a beautiful new range of All About Everybody Memory Gift Books & Journals, which offer a new and unique way of creating a lifelong legacy by preserving the personalities, wisdom and memories of the important people in your life and make the perfect gift for any occasion.

Each book has been beautifully illustrated with space for you to add photographs, keepsakes, drawings, or whatever you would like to make the book your own personal ‘treasure trove’.

The idea behind the journals came when a small brown book was discovered which had belonged to Red Cherry Publishing’s Aunty Ruby. From the 1930s to 1974 Ruby had used the book to ask her friends and family to complete a short set of questions about themselves, their lives and their hopes for the future. The book was full of hand written answers, mostly in pencil, which revealed the special qualities and personality of everybody who had completed it. Relatives once thought of as very mature and forbidding were transformed when the humour, thoughts and dreams that were evident in what they had written as young people shone through in the journals.

Ruby’s book of memories inspired Red Cherry Publishing to develop a brand new set of books to enable others to capture and share their own special memories about the important people in their lives.  The special quality of all the books is that they really can be “All About Everybody” in your life. No special person or occasion need ever be forgotten again.
