A new range of home wares is launching in the UK, with the personal seal of approval from Earl Grey.
As the latest bearer of one of the most historic and respected titles in Britain, Richard Fleming George Charles Grey, the Sixth Earl Grey, together with his wife the Countess Grey, have put the family’s heritage and their passion for British design into a new range of home wares developed in collaboration with Candlelight Products Ltd.
Celebrating the finest in classic British style, the range includes everything from tea cups and saucers to tea pots, cake stands, wall art and many more items.

The title Earl Grey is famously associated with the traditional art of afternoon tea because of the unique connection to one of the country’s favourite blends of tea, the unique and exotic blend, Earl Grey, flavoured with fragrant Bergamot flowers.
The name of the world-renowned tea derives from a gift that the 2nd Earl Grey, Charles Grey received when he was Prime Minister in 1834, after the son of a wealthy Chinese Mandarin was saved from drowning by a member of a British trade delegation. As a token of his thanks, the Mandarin sent the Earl some tea flavoured with Bergamot. Before long, the Earl Grey’s uniquely fragrant and exotic tea was the toast of London society and the current Earl Grey is still dedicated to the art of taking tea made famous by his ancestors.
