Calendar Club names Rachel Ellen Designs Supplier of the Year

Rachel EllenLeading calendar retailer Calendar Club has awarded Rachel Ellen Designs its coveted Supplier of the Year award for 2012!

Founded in 1997, when founder Rachel Church started out making greeting cards at her kitchen table, Rachel Ellen Designs produces a range of quality cards and stationery featuring Rachel’s quirky, hand painted characters. The unique designs are now instantly recognisable and have made Rachel Ellen into a much-loved and well-established children’s brand, as well as winning a number of prestigious international awards over the years, including Henries for Best Cute Range 2006, Best Children’s Range 2008 and Best Cute Range 2011.

The range has a strong presence at UK retail through a select number of High Street multiples and the hugely popular designs are also making a mark in the licensing sector, with representative KJG Licensing recently signing a deal that will see Rachel’s work appearing on a range of Qualatex balloons and partyware.

Calendar Club, which opens up thousands of temporary outlets in shopping centres across the country each year, stocked a range of Rachel Ellen Advent cards and calendars in 2012 and the award comes as recognition of the fantastic customer service supplied by the whole team at Rachel Ellen Designs.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have been named Calendar Club Supplier of the Year!” comments Rachel Church. “We always work very hard to meet our clients’ requirements, so it’s really lovely when a customer recognises all the work we put into getting things right.”
