Coral Rose is a full time, professional artist based in Doncaster, who produces a variety of delightful animal portraits and wildlife art, specialising in traditional hand painted, pastel pet portraits
Says Coral: “I decided to direct my efforts towards wildlife and pet portraits, as that has always been my favoured subject matter. My admiration of animals has always been there, along with my desire to paint; so it only seemed natural to turn this into a living. It gives me enormous pleasure to be able to make my clients happy when they see their completed artwork, especially when the subject matter is something so close to their hearts”.
Prices for pet portrait commissions start from £150, and I work from photographs that the client supplies.
Coral will also be exhibiting at the Staithes Festival of Arts and Heritage running from the 14th-15th September. It is sponsored by Welcome to Yorkshire and North York Moors National Park. Visitors will be able to commission a portrait from Coral at a 40% discount.
