Pedigree Books makes Smashing announcement!

AnnualSHODSP13_One Direction_Cover.indds and yearbooks specialist Pedigree Books has revealed details of the latest titles based on legendary music brand Smash Hits, launching this year.

Smash Hits is the magazine that started life in 1978 and entranced successive generations of young music fans with all the latest pop news, reviews and gossip. The brand has since moved into the digital era and attracts a large and growing following through its Smash Hits TV, digital radio channels and dedicated website.

Following the amazing success of Pedigree’s Smash Hits Annuals range in 2012, on 1st February Pedigree published a Sticker & Poster Activity Annual… ‘Smash Hits presents One Direction Special’, available now in a number of major UK retailers. This will be followed by two ‘Special’ Smash Hits Christmas Annuals focusing on One Direction and Olly Murs.

Pedigree is the UK market leader in the Annuals sector and Smash Hits will join it’s host of other leading brands such as Star Wars, Shoot and Family Guy on shelves across its widespread distribution base. The hugely popular publications have become a Christmas stocking-filler staple thanks to a combination of fantastic value for money, innovative and exciting content.

“We are very excited to be continuing our partnership with Smash Hits,” says Matthew Reynolds, Publishing and Sales Director at Pedigree. “The property has a large and growing following, and we have already enjoyed considerable success with ‘Special’ Smash Hits Annuals dedicated to acts such as One Direction, Justin Bieber and JLS. Smash Hits are music experts and therefore provide exciting, in depth content for our ‘Special’ Annuals that delights our readers.”
