New Hello Kitty licensed range launched by Gemma

Hello Kitty Happy Birthday-2Licensed greeting card specialist Gemma International has introduced a variety of new Hello Kitty designs, with multiple ranges to appeal to all ages.

Artwork for the adult offering is a mixture of beautiful sketches and watercolour, finished with flitter and foil on textured board. The cards are available across blank and happy birthday, along with female occasions and relations.  This softer, more classic style appeals to loyal, older female Hello Kitty fans as well as new consumers who are simply drawn to these beautiful illustrations. There are 24 cards in total, including eight integrated (occasion and relation designs) and 16 stand alone, happy birthday/blank cards.

Gemma marketing manager, Shelley Boyd-Platt commented: “We are very proud of the range, as it was all created and illustrated in-house.  We received amazing feedback about this range at PG Live last week and are getting a lot of retailer interest”.

Also catching the eye is a range of trend-led cards for Hello Kitty tweens, which includes ages 9, 10, 11 girl. The colours are strong, bold and fashion inspired and are finished with striking black flitter. Shelly adds: “We have had great feedback about this range from consumers who are saying that the tween age group is hard to buy for, but these are perfect and will appeal to them”.
