His Royal Highness Prince Charles has a laugh at the greetings cards from Sherston Post Office
Sherston Post Office was surprised by a visit from none other than HRH Prince Charles, who is pictured here having a good giggle with Saira Harris at some of their humorous greeting cards, as supplied by The Great British Card Company.
The Post Office is part of a £900,000 restoration of a Grade II listed schoolhouse in Sherston village, one of the largest community projects in the UK, home to a number of businesses. His Royal Highness is patron of the Prince’s Countryside Fund, which donated £50,000 to the project and helped see the project through to completion.
The Prince paid the visit to Gloucester and Wiltshire on November 25, taking part in a number of engagements in the local area and receiving a warm welcome from crowds of well-wishers.
