Spring Fair International 2014, an i2i Events Group exhibition, will present the best selection of Contemporary Gift & Home products available to the UK retail trade in the year ahead.

Over 300 UK and overseas suppliers will join this sector of the show, exhibiting across Halls 6 and 7 of The NEC. The fantastic variety of exhibitors will bring thousands of new design-led gifts, high-end home accessories and luxury lifestyle ranges from around the world. Big brands you can look forward to seeing in these halls include:

donkeyRJB, Leonardo, Pip Studios, Essenza, Lene Bejere, Cubic Products, Addject, Thabto, Bombay Duck, Rex International, Junction 18, Heaven Sends, Present Time, J’me, Suck UK and Donkey Products.

They join scores of first time exhibitors and international suppliers within Contemporary Gift & Home, such as Propaganda Denmark, Raine & Humble, Cavallini Paper, Gifts with Style/Lexon, David & Goliath, Terrarium, Balvi, Teo Jasmin, Redecker, Koziol, Glaskoch, Coz-e-Reader and Decopac.

Also located within Contemporary Gift & Home for the first time will be one of the five UK Trade & Industry (UKTI) Villages making their debut at Spring Fair in 2014. Exhibitors in the Contemporary Home & Gift UKTI Village include Hole in my pocket, Cushion friends, Victoria Eggs and Sherbert Pip.

i2i Events Group has forged a strengthened partnership agreement with UKTI designed to inspire and support UK-based SMEs in their efforts to succeed in overseas markets. The partnership will boost international representation at Spring Fair, providing British suppliers with an entry point to international markets and offering a broad variety of pre-event and onsite benefits.

A swathe of the UK’s hottest design talent will join the best from overseas in a number of inspirational feature areas located throughout the Contemporary Gift & Home Halls.

gingerandfrenchReturning to Spring Fair following a successful debut at the 2013 event will be Design Lab in Hall 6, featuring a clutch of cutting-edge designer-makers that are exhibiting at Spring Fair for the first time: Chisel and Mouse, Venus od Cupertino, Oh Sew Contemporary, Addatag, More than Words, Victoria’s Workshop, Victoria Armstrong, Tattersfield Designs, GuisaPet, Coconutgrass, Hill House Design, The Teashed, Metz textile Design, Wall Envy Art, Crafted Lines and Ginger & French.

Appearing for the second time within Design Lab will be select companies that made a highly successful debut within this feature zone at Spring Fair International 2013: FiftyEight, Smart Deco, Kabloom and Creature Clothes. Elsewhere within Hall 6, The Studio feature of innovative and contemporary British designers – including the impressive designGap collective – will also return to the exhibition for 2014.

Located at the back of Hall 6, The Trend Briefing Seminar Theatre will create a super-stylish centrepiece at the heart of Spring Fair. A world-class seminar programme has been put together by an expert content team, dedicated to providing Spring Fair visitors with a wealth of invaluable advice and information that will keep them ahead of the retail game in the year ahead.

sherbet pipThe programme will get off to a start on Sunday February 2 at 11.00 with an insight into Interior Home Trends for Spring-Summer 2014, a presentation of the most influential themes, colours, materials and products for the home interiors market for the coming season.

Another fascinating session will look at What to buy: Top products picks for the new season. Having scoured Spring Fair a team of merchandising experts will offer their thoughts on the key products to have in store for the new season. The trend focus will include home, gift and fashion accessories suitable for different consumer demographics.

Once again taking place within the Trend Briefing & Seminar area will be the hotly anticipated Gift of the Year Awards 2014 presentation, due to be announced at a press reception on the evening of Sunday February 2.

The fabulous Contemporary Product and New Product Showcases can both be found in Hall 9, with further design-led product features located at the entrance to every hall of Spring Fair.

This is the perfect place to spend some quality time at the exhibition, home to premier products from an inspiring mix of high quality home and lifestyle companies with a designer edge.
