The fantastic Wrap Up Project has created some very original gift wrapping paper that featuring magnified images of the pneumonia, influenza and the common cold viruses that plague homeless people in particular during the winter months. Surprisingly, the nasty bugs make rather pretty pictures that are hard to distinguish from snowflakes and stars if you don’t look too closely!

The 28″ sheet papers were designed by London ad agency WCRS for The Wrap Up Project, which is donating all the proceeds to London’s St Mungo’s homelessness charity.

In the last two years sleeping rough has risen nationally by 31 per cent, so The Wrap Up Project was created by WCRS to raise awareness of the UK’s increasing homelessness problem and support the fantastic work St Mungo’s do to help people rebuild their lives away from the streets.

When the temperature drops, homeless people become particularly vulnerable. The snowflake patterns in the wrapping paper designs depict the common cold, influenza and pneumonia – all ailments which pose serious risk to those living rough on our streets. The full proceeds from this wrapping paper go to St Mungo’s. By buying it you can help homeless people wrap up warm this Christmas. And give, while you give.

All the papers are printed on 100% recycled stock and can be purchased by following this link
