The Almanac Gallery relocates to GBCC headquarters

almanacwinterbournThe Great British Company has relocated operations for The Almanac Gallery to its group headquarters in Gloucester

In an initiative designed to streamline the logistics of specific creative and sales driven functions, The Great British Card Company (GBCC) has decided to close the London office devoted to the activities of The Almanac Gallery and move this resource across to the main GBCC 30,000 sq ft facility on the outskirts of Gloucester.

The services of experienced Almanac Art Editor Nicole Mendelsohn will however be retained, with Nicole splitting her time between working in a new London base and the main GBCC Gloucester studio, working with the existing GBCC studio under the direction of Group Product Director Nick Adsett.

‘Almanac has probably been one of the finest acquisitions we have made down the years” stated GBCC Operations Director Chris Wilcox. “The product range has a unique ‘boutique’ look to it which GBCC retailers immediately took to.  Nicole is largely responsible for the creative footprint of Almanac, so it was important for us that the business has been able to retain her expertise” he added.

Associated Almanac studio functions will re-locate to Gloucester, as will the Almanac Charity Sales Division, under the watchful eye of Sales Director Chris Houfe and Specialist Sales Manager Tim Mckeogh.
