We were glad to come in from the cold yesterday for a cup of hot chocolate with Tatty Ted and the team from Carte Blanche, who opened up a friendly meet and greet in South Molton Street on the eve of Toy Fair.
The famous Me to You bear welcomed fans from around London to a unique pop-up experience on what is generally billed as the most miserable day of the year, although we far from being glum. After taking the Me to You mood test we found ourselves to be happy and optimistic, which bodes well for the future in 2014!
A steady stream of fans turned up to have their photo taken with Tatty while they enjoyed the handmade hot chocolate and helped themselves to a gift bag of Me to You goodies. The event proved so popular that it has been extended through today, and is part of a month-long social media campaign that allows participants to nominate someone they think needs cheering up.
