A Spring Fair competition retailers cat-egorically shouldn’t miss!

Hallmark LogoIndependent retailers across the UK and Ireland are being offered the chance to boost sales by winning a bespoke marketing campaign, along with products from an exclusive new range, from card and gift specialist Hallmark.

The competition has been created by Hallmark to mark the launch of its brand new ‘Little Meow’ range. Due to hit shelves in the spring, this exclusive card collection features three supremely sweet kittens that have been designed following extensive consumer research. Bringing together months of product testing and creative development, Little Meow is sure to prove popular with cute buyers and cat lovers alike.

To take part in the competition, retailers are asked to visit Hallmark’s stand ( Hall 4 4D20-E21) at the Spring Fair International 2014, taking place at The NEC, Birmingham, from February 2 – 5, where they can fill out an entry form. The winning store, to be announced in March, will receive a bespoke marketing campaign consisting of a window display, a local newspaper advert, POS material and local PR support – all unique for their store.

Rachel Goodman, Head of Properties and Licensing at Hallmark, said: “We’re extremely proud of the Little Meow range and are looking forward to its launch later this year. Designed by our market-leading creative team, the characters have been developed with a vast amount of research behind them and it’s this activity that gives us the confidence we have in the final designs.

“The cute market is highly lucrative and we know that independent retailers are perfectly positioned for targeting this type of consumer. This fit, along with our long standing relationships in this sector, makes Little Meow an ideal property to celebrate with our trade customers. We can only hope that the prize we’re offering through this competition will help further the range’s success for the winning store.”
