With a degree in Surface Pattern, an MA specialising in computer aided design and a professional career as a senior designer for Watermark Publishing and Carte Blanche Greetings, Ilona has a good understanding of the greeting cards market and sense of designing for the high street.
Since establishing her own design studio I Drew This Ilona has developed her own style and recognised her passion for creating interesting designs which revolve around the essential human themes of love and sentiment.
Key to these designs a raw childlike honesty using spray paint, pens, pencils, collage and print mixed with digital tools photoshop and illustrator.
Ilona commented: “I began the Little Tweets range just after my daughter was born, it is my most peaceful range and has been proving to be very popular due to its simplicity. The second range Umami was inspired by my love of both vintage embroidery and the seventies”.
