Sally Coote, of the Boston department store, Oldrids has been announced as the proud winner of the RAF price draw, run by Widdop Bingham at Spring Fair International 2014.
Sally has won a VIP day out to RAF Scampton, home of the Red Arrows, which includes a look at what goes on behind the scenes and actually meeting some of the Red Arrows pilots in person.
Sally says, “Winning a VIP day out at Scampton is great – it will be the first time I have ever visited an RAF base and I am really looking forward to the experience. The Red Arrows are an iconic British institution and I get to meet them in person!”.
The draw was devised to promote the official RAF licensed giftware range distributed exclusively by Widdop Bingham. As well as the evergreen gift lines, the range commemorates special events such as the 70th anniversary of the Dambusters last year and the commencement of WWI one hundred years ago.
Oldrids of Boston have stocked the range since it was launched at the beginning of 2012. The store is ideally located in an area where there are a number of large RAF airfields generating a lot of interest particularly in some of the classic RAF planes. The Red Arrows and Dambusters collections have worked particularly well in store with mugs and keyrings not surprisingly leading the way in products.
