The UK Greeting Card Association (GCA) and wider greeting card industry are looking forward to Thinking of You Week and Festive Friday 2015, taking place on Monday 21 – Sunday 28 September and Friday 27 November respectively.
Thinking of You Week is the GCA’s campaign to create a wave of love, caring and happiness during September 21-27 by encouraging people to send a card a day to a different person. Several larger retailers (and their magazines) have already pledged to support the celebration of love and sentiment, while consumer magazine Crafts Beautiful is also on board.
Participating retailers will be receiving the flyer and a poster in card deliveries throughout August and September, and a specially designed Toolkit is freely available to all from the GCA website. The Toolkit incorporates inspirational ideas for activities and events and lots of downloadable imagery to help you spread the word and take part. These include the banner branding pictured here, a flyer, event poster, social media cover imagery, sticker and label templates, a template press release and a list of local press contacts nationwide.
The GCA is also giving a prize each for Best Event and Best Window Display so make sure you share or email photos with them during the week for a chance to win!
