Hallmark to launch Itty Bittys plush in the UK

batmanFollowing the success of Itty Bittys plush in the US and Australian markets and customer demand this side of the Atlantic, Hallmark is to launch the brand in the UK this autumn.

Itty Bittys is a range of iconic collectable plush characters from film, comics and television, whose diminutive four inch stature makes them perfect for collecting and just right for pairing with a greeting card as a small gift.

Launched in the US in 2012 to capitalise on an opportunity in the plush market, Itty Bittys has enjoyed huge success and saw an 800% growth in sales in the first year as the ever-increasing range grew from eight to more than 80 characters in just three years.

The initial Itty Bittys UK launch this September will include the Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Snoopy and Charlie Brown, Scooby Doo and The Wizard of Oz characters.Hallmark will continue to grow the ranges with limited editions and themed releases.

The launch is supported by a targeted marketing strategy including social media and blogger engagement, to ensure that excitement builds as fans await the release of each and every Itty Bitty.  Retailers will be supported with bespoke retail solutions and point of sale, including multi buy promotions to increase purchase frequency and basket weight.
