Key exhibition sector moves back to Hall 3 for 2016 and finds renewed synergy with The Party Show and Gifts
Spring Fair 2016, an i2i Events Group exhibition, will feature the biggest selection of greetings cards, gift wrappings and stationery to be found under one roof anywhere in the world.
Spring Fair is a fitting showcase for this fantastic British industry, with more card publishers joining the event, and taking up far more exhibition space, than any other greetings or stationery show in the UK.
Almost 300 greeting card, stationery and giftwrap suppliers will join this sector of Spring Fair at the time of going to press, with dozens more set to participate by the time Spring Fair opens its doors at The NEC from February 7 – 11 2016. Included in this number are many brands exclusive to Spring Fair and scores of new exhibitors.
There has been growth in the stationery offering for 2016, reflecting the market trend for social stationery. Companies in this category you can look forward to seeing include: Go Stationery, The Gifted Stationery Company, Leuchtturm and Goldbuch Georg Brueckner.
Recognising and celebrating the creativity of niche publishers and contemporary designers, Spring Fair will showcase an impressive raft of design talent. Artists, designers and new publishers including Laura Sherratt, Rose Hill, Jo Stockdale, Bird, Madam Treacle, Berni Parker, The Little Bells and Square Card Company are just some of the fabulous companies taking part in the show.
They join an impressive line-up of the UK’s biggest greetings and giftwrap suppliers, such as: Woodmansterne, Carte Blanche, Hallmark, The Great British Card Company, Simon Elvin, Nigel Quiney Publications, Glick, Ling Designs and Penny Kennedy.
Not only will Spring Fair deliver more British buyers to the stands of exhibitors than any other event – tens of thousands with a primary or secondary interest in greetings and stationery – but it is also the country’s leading export show, with far more international visitors from more countries than any other UK trade exhibition.
Under the new banner of Greetings & Gift, this vital sector will move to Hall 3 for 2016, alongside complementary products in The Party Show, the country’s only dedicated event for the party products industry.
The re-edited layout in Hall 3 will emphasise the great synergy between these sectors, with party products adjacent to suppliers offering gift wrappings, bags, tags and ribbons and some of the best brands in the greetings world turning out to support what promises to be a spectacular showcase.
Suppliers who have diversified into gift ranges will be located on a contemporary greetings and gift boulevard near to Gift in Hall 4, including: Santoro, Caroline Gardner, Talking Tables, Bluebell 33, Wrendale Designs, The Little Dog Laughed, Belly Button Designs, White Cotton Cards, Quotable, Alex Clark Art, Rachel Ellen and Paper Salad.
Unrivalled cross-over buying opportunities can be found within Spring Fair’s massive presentation of gifts, which covers everything from higher-end design-led contemporary giftware from UK and international suppliers, to traditional toys for children, home accessories and every kind of general gift imaginable.
Spring Fair will take place from February 7 – 11 at The NEC, Birmingham.
