IJL editor’s choice winners

The winners of IJL’s very popular and highly regarded exhibitor Editors’ Choice pre-show awards are designer Isabella Liu, The Rock Hound, and Franco Florenzi.

The Creative Originality category was won by Isabella Liu for her Sea Rhymes collection (right), inspired by Japanese artist Hokusai’s famous painting, ‘The Great Wave’, and Isabella’s fascination with the sound of the sea.

The Technical Trailblazer was named as The Rock Hound for its Chromanteq Bombe Rings (top left), which feature a myriad of coloured gemstones from around the world, selected from brilliantly green Namibian Demantoids, vivid blue Tourmalines, orange Mandarin Garnets and hot pink Mahenge Spinels.

Winner of the third category, Commercial Mastermind, is Franco Florenzi for the Bow and Arrow Bracelets (below left), for men and women, which suit both classic and contemporary outfits.

Four more Editors’ Choice categories will be judged during IJL by a prestigious panel of industry media editors, with Sam Willoughby and Claire Adler casting the final votes. These categories are: Designer to Watch, Show Stopper, Visual Excellence and the ultimate crown, the IJL Exhibitor of the Year. The results will be announced at the show.
