Wild Things appear on cushions and stationery

Exhibiting at both Autumn Fair and Top Drawer will be home fragrance specialist, Ashleigh & Burwood, which is stepping into new markets with an extension of its spectacular Wild Things collection of candles and diffusers into soft furnishings and stationery.

The distinctive Wild Things’ designs feature a variety of exotic animals, such as black panthers, toucans and zebras, which are also leading trends in home and gift across Europe. The seed for home accessories was planted from the start, with the beautiful ceramic jars used to hold the candles already designed to be reused as standalone decorative items.

Three of Wild Things’ most striking designs – I Zee You Baby, Crouching Tiger and new Born With Cattitude – are featured on duck down cushions measuring 40cmx40cm. The removable cushion covers are made from 100% cotton fabric and finished with gold piping. The same three designs also feature on hardback A5 notebooks made with 100gsm lined paper and finished with a colourful ribbon bookmark in blue, pink or purple.

New Product Development Manager, Anna Borrett comments: “It was very exciting to see metres and metres of printed fabric when we visited the factory in April. Seeing the vibrant colours on fabric looks great and stepping into a new world of textiles is such a fantastic direction for the collection. While these new products represent a step in a new direction for us, as always we have ensured that the high quality our home fragrances are known for has been matched by these newest additions.”
