Matthew Williamson Home Fragrance Collection to launch at Autumn Fair

Legendary British fashion designer, Matthew Williamson, will launch his new Home Fragrance Collection at Autumn Fair, taking place from September 2 – 5 at The NEC, Birmingham. The range will launch with a set of 200g candles, 200ml room diffusers and 600g luxury ceramic candles. Using a mineral and soy wax blend, the candles are hand-poured in the South West of England. The wax blend has been specially developed to give the best stability and burn performance through a 100% cotton wick.

The scents were created in close collaboration between esteemed Parisian perfumers and Matthew. Each fragrance has been refined with the highest quality of raw materials sourced from all over the world, from jasmine flowers and tuberose sourced from Grasse in France to spices from Indonesia. The collection offers five signature scents inspired by Matthew’s global travels, from the freshness of an English garden to the rich mysteries of Jaipur.

Midnight Jungle evokes exotic, dense jungle terrain inspires this scent of black currant, fig leaves and gardenia. A mysterious mix of natural honey, patchouli and cedar wood evoke the undergrowth of a midnight jungle.

Jaipur Jewel captures the essence of India’s bustling and vibrant pink city. A heady mix of incense, spices and woody notes combine with natural accents of juniper and cinnamon.

Summer Siesta is inspired by coastal and Mediterranean towns and villages, Summer Siesta is a refreshingly crisp and uplifting scent with notes of mandarin, lemon and tuberose.

English Garden is reminiscent of traditional cottage gardens and meadows provide inspiration for this floral and fruit based scent with accents of Ceylon tea, orange blossom and rose evoking the unique charm of an English garden.

Palm Springs is all about fragrant white roses and delicate jasmine flowers form the heart of the Palm Springs scent. Vanilla, leather and musk add depth whilst ozonic top notes evoke a fresh summer breeze.

The design of the 200g candles encapsulates Matthew Williamson’s love of colour and pattern. Each glass jar is finished with a texturised ikat pattern and a fabric label featuring the brand’s peacock and pineapple motif. The 600g luxury candle range is a piece of art for the home or luxury hotel. Each ceramic jar has been finished with a print inspired by the scent, with designs hand-painted in Matthew’s London studio. The jar’s iconic design will mean they form a keepsake and accessory for the home even once the candle has burnt – whether for flowers or treasures. The luxury candle range is made of the finest Portuguese ceramic, renowned as the highest quality ceramic worldwide.

Elegant diffusers complete the range. Using the same vibrant colours as the 200g candles, Matthew Williamson has created a series of glass diffusers which have a luxurious, timeless style. The modern grey reeds will guarantee long diffusion and persistent silage over time.
