NY NOW, the American market for home, lifestyle and giftware, has revealed the winners of the Accent on Design® Awards, which recognizes product design excellence, innovation and creativity.
The award for Overall Excellence went to W&P, a Brooklyn-based product design company with a mission to create products that inspire your daily interactions with food and drink in ways you never imagined possible. The company’s stylish Cheese Knife won the “Best in Market” Award to recognize one extraordinary product that stood out among the ten category winners of the “Best New Product” Awards.
The Excellence in Booth Design was awarded to MT Masking Tape, the original brand of design masking tape made of Japanese washi paper – excellent quality for an infinite number of possible uses. Their booth features a rainbow masking tape display suspended in the air featuring 1,260 rolls of tape.
The Best Product Collection was awarded to +d, presented by Eastern Accent, bringing fine craftsmanship and artistry into the lives of all through the beauty and uniqueness of its interactive products.
The Best New Product Innovation was won by SCOOP by LYFE, a brand with one simple philosophy: A simplified lifestyle in metal which takes the form of an ice cream scooper featuring a unique cast aluminum design and ergonomic handle.
