Major re-edit planned for Spring Fair 2020

The UK’s largest retail trade exhibition, Spring Fair owner, ITE Group, has announced that there will be major changes to the show in 2020, as new Managing Director, Julie Driscoll, takes the helm of the show.

The new investment will see the show floor overhauled to create two distinct sourcing destinations – ‘Gifts’ and ‘Home & Living’, as well as a number of new categories and countless new buying opportunities.

The investment from ITE Group, will see a transformational new look and feel for Spring Fair 2020, whilst retaining everything that visitors love about the current format.

As shown in the full layout plan below, the Piazza side of The NEC will be occupied with suppliers and products in the Gifts category, while the Atrium side will be devoted to Home & Living.

One of the biggest changes to the layout will see the Jewellery & Watch show move out of Halls 18 and 19 on The Atrium side of The NEC and into the front of Hall 1 alongside Fashion. Halls 9 and 10 will see the opening of a large ‘Everyday’ sector, while Floral and Accents & Decor in Hall 7 will reflect the enormous blossoming of the silk flowers market as plants take root in home interiors.

Meanwhile 50 new exhibitors are joining the Spring Fair Home sector for 2019, with growth across textiles and soft furnishings showcases. They include TV personality Angel Strawbridge of The Chateau fame, who has chosen Spring Fair to launch her all-new Chateau collection, in conjunction with Design Studio.
