Talking Tables launches children’s design competition for Magic Breakfast

Tabletop and partyware specialist, Talking Tables, has created a competition for children to design a napkin, which will be sold in a major retailer and wonderful independent high street and farm shop stores around the UK.

Talking Tables is supporting the charity Magic Breakfast, and all the profits from sales of the competition winning napkins will be going to charity and contribute towards making a difference to a child in need. Magic Breakfast provides breakfasts to over 48,000 children at risk of hunger, with a focus on food to help them concentrate on their school work and giving them the fuel they need to learn. They are helping children across the UK, during Covid 19 and once schools open again.

During these unprecedented times, Magic Breakfast is committed to providing children at risk of hunger with access to a free, nutritious breakfast. While they can no longer run the Magic Breakfast provision as usual in schools, with backing from supporters they are Keeping Breakfast Going by providing breakfast take home packs for families. This is a lifeline for children who often have no food at home, and for parents/carers who can take comfort in knowing their children will be fed at the beginning of the day.

To submit your finished design, take a high resolution photo of the drawing and either post it on Instagram using #talkingtablesnapkincompetition and tagging @talkingtables_tt or email the design to charitynapkin@talkingtables.co.uk.

Talking Tables will turn the winning design into a napkin that can be bought in a shop near you, and the winner will receive 12 packs of their napkin. Competition closes at 11pm on Tuesday 5th May 2020. Competition is for under 16s.
