Garden wildlife product specialist and supplier, CJ Wildlife, has collaborated with Europe’s largest conservation charity, the National Trust, to help encourage individuals and communities to share the love of nature and play their part in protecting and caring for the environment.
The National Trust cares for 500 places in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Looking after 250,000 hectares of countryside, the charity is dedicated to reversing the decline of wildlife and inspiring its supporters to do the same.
Initially a 5-year agreement, CJ Wildlife have pledged a significant value of a minimum of £775,000 support over the term starting at £75,000 per year and rising to a minimum of £240,000 in year five to support the National Trust’s important conservation work.
Central to this collaboration is a licensed range of 90 high-quality, premium and specialist bird and wildlife foods, feeders, nest boxes, accessories, mammal and insect habitats. Each item will be presented in striking, full colour display packaging and the complete range will be available for retailers to stock from this autumn.
Every purchase from CJ Wildlife’s National Trust Garden Wildlife Range, over the course of the collaboration, will contribute to National Trust projects and directly benefit wildlife. This key message is repeated across the packaging and POS displays to inform and advise consumers’ in-store buying decisions.
Claire Smith, Chief Officer for Partnerships, Products & Business Development at CJ Wildlife comments ‘We are delighted to be working with the National Trust and are very proud of the licensed product range we are launching. Both of our organisations are passionate about supporting wildlife and caring for the places where it can thrive. We look forward to the coming years and the difference we can make together directly for our wildlife and more indirectly by sparking joy in people who connect more with nature.’
Becky Stanford, National Trust Brand Licensing Manager ‘We are thrilled to be working with CJ Wildlife and sharing the expertise they bring for the future prosperity of our nation’s wildlife. This collection will allow our supporters to provide safe environments for wildlife in their own gardens, and experience the joy that seeing wildlife flourish brings.
We’re also incredibly grateful for the support CJ Wildlife will bring to our own conservation projects and are excited to see how the collaboration will develop over the coming years.’
