Strong Profanities…

We love this fun new collection from specialists in handmade ceramic decorations, Roelofs & Rubens, appropriate named, Profanities.

These snazzy speech bubble decorations, with five different profanities to choose from, are a fun way to let go of some of those pent up worries and frustrations from this year. Hang them on the tree or anywhere else you fancy, just to remind yourself of what 2020 was really like!

Beautifully made by hand, the decorations make a great keepsake and also an excellent stocking filler or secret Santa gift for the grown-ups. We think they’re a lot of fun and will surely resonate with everyone.

Established in 2006 by Berkshire-based designer Piet van den Beuken and her husband, Monty Abram, Roelofs & Rubens is a successful supplier of handmade and hand-decorated ceramic hanging decorations.

Piet studied Architectural Design at St Joost Academy of Art in Breda and Graphic Design at the Rietveld Academy of Art in Amsterdam. Through her own love of ceramics, she discovered a gap in the market for something that was both contemporary in design and beautifully unique.

Being Dutch, Piet admits that the much-loved Delft Blue of Holland holds a special place in her heart and has influenced her to work with the distinctive blue and white palette.

‘Our fabulous decoration collections are all handmade and hand decorated to an excellent standard. The striking blue and white colour scheme will complement your home whilst our original and exciting designs bring a fresh look’.
