Expowest Cornwall moves to new date in May

Hale Events, the organisers of Expowest Cornwall have announced that next year’s trade show will be postponed from its original March date until Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 May 2021, at the Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge.

With restrictions possibly in place until early March, and with current market conditions as they are, they do not feel that running the show in March is a practical proposition, or indeed the best timing for either exhibitors or buyers.

Cornwall is set to be busy with staycations in 2021, but it will be at least Easter before the vaccine can be rolled out nationwide and we all start to see a return to a semblance of normality. Expowest Cornwall will be as important for Cornish businesses as ever, if not even more so; to reconnect suppliers with the market, so as to showcase their new products and ranges, and to give buyers the chance to get the products and ideas they will need to be as profitable as possible through 2021

.Expowest Cornwall is the region’s one truly essential hospitality and catering trade show – it’s where the local business community gets together to see, touch and taste the newest crop of products, catch up on the latest news and gossip, and to get a feel for how the latest trends from afar are shaping the market.

The show will have Covid-19 measures in place to ensure a safe environment for both buyers and exhibitors, and following a challenging 2020, it’s the perfect opportunity to get back up to speed and kickstart your business for the year.

If you have a serious interest in hospitality and catering, food and drink, Cornwall and its economy, then it’s the place to be in May.
