Design-Nation is delighted to return yet again to the January edition of Top Drawer London the renowned trade showcase for design-led home interiors, giftware, stationery and other on trend products for the coming seasons.
The January 2021 edition – Top Drawer On Demand – is in virtual format and packed with interesting design features. As usual, Design-Nation will present a group of superb and original designer/makers who are creating the best handmade products for homes and gifts.
The Design-Nation network includes some of the most acclaimed and innovative designers and craftspeople across the UK. Their nine exhibitors for the ss21 edition bring a selection of high quality objects encompassing ceramic, jewellery, leather, textile and wood; these artworks, fashion accessories and homeware span a wide variety of styles, incorporating both contemporary and traditionally-inspired artisan techniques and sensitive choices of materials.
Exhibitors include: BAKKA and Majeda Clarke (knitted and woven textiles respectively), Carin Lindberg, Lucy Spink and Mari Thomas (jewellery), Caroline Egleston (ceramic tiles, pictured above)), Linescapes (illustration-based products), Sally Burnett (wooden vessels, pictured top) and Wolfram Lohr (leather goods for home and wear).
Exhibition Producer Helen Kemp says. “Design-Nation has been bringing great design and product to Top Drawer’s ‘Craft’ showcase ever since the launch at Earls Court in 2014. This trade show attracts the most discerning buyers from both major retailers and exclusive boutiques and has always been an excellent marketplace for our members to present new and established designs. We have worked hard to adapt quickly to the new virtual world of fairs and shows, and are confident that the team at Clarion Events will yet again create a great environment that facilitates dialogues, sales and commissions.”
Design-Nation member Linescapes (above) will be launching a new collection ‘Sun’. The Sun Collection is a versatile and colourful range of architectural illustrations and comes in a choice of 3 sizes and 6 different colour backgrounds so customers can choose the perfect prints, coasters, cards, notebooks and members for their homes regardless of their style.
