Sketchy Hounds – creating colourful gifts for people who love dogs!

Sketchy Hounds is a new online business based in Cornwall, selling cute and colourful illustrative dogs on gifts perfect for dog lovers. See the full range at Giving & Living Online.

Liz Pengilley, the name behind the brand started Sketchy Hounds in 2020, as her main design business was affected by the pandemic, so she needed a way of developing her illustrations for a different market.

Liz’s main inspiration behind Sketchy Hounds came from her beloved rescue dog, Denzel, a Springer Spaniel x Lurcher. From a few dogs that Liz started to place on greetings cards, Liz has now built a cute and colourful collection of greetings cards and gifts for the home, which she currently sells through her successful Etsy shop and online retailers.

As being face to face at exhibitions is a bit tricky at the moment, Liz has decided to do her first exhibition this year with Giving and Living as a way to introduce her business and to connect with other wholesale and retail companies.

As well as Sketchy Hounds providing retailers with designs for wholesale, Liz can also work with retailers in producing a bespoke design for their brand for a unique product for their company.

As Liz is passionate about rescue dogs and the joy they bring, she decided to choose one dog charity a year, where she will donate a percentage of profits made, which she hopes will help hounds in need.

You can find out more about the selection of products Sketchy Hounds sell on their website for retail and wholesale or get in touch about a bespoke design by visiting the website www.sketchyhounds.com or by emailing info@sketchyhounds.com
