Spotlight on Tracey Cooper

Home & Giftware magazine catches up with Tracey Cooper at Giving & Living Online, where she is exhibiting to the trade for the first time.

My idea for Tracey Cooper started back in 2017 when I started drawing and illustrating again as a form of mindfulness that I used to relax and unwind from my ‘day’ job. I have always had a thing for colour.

“The vibrancy of colour has always uplifted me, and I also have always been a lover of animals and so I started drawing animals with bold colours. I drew from my travels around the world, gaining inspiration from different cultures and environments as well from as from my own environment, so I started illustrating animals and places that I had seen. This is when I the idea was planted to start to produce illustrations celebrating the beauty of nature.

“So I combined the two passions to produce my brand…My whole brand is about bringing the beauty of the nature, our world into your home. Through hand drawn illustrations that celebrate our beautiful planet.

“Based in warwickshire, every illustration is hand drawn and crafted by myself. The design process starts with an illustration, these illustration are then brought to life with modern, digital colouring and printing techniques, which add vibrancy and bring a distinct style to the Tracey Cooper brand.

“My design collections are available on luxury products such as cushions, prints and home accessories. I ame passionate about British manufacturing, so all our interior products are proudly printed and made right here in the UK.I now share my kaleidoscopic celebration of the beauty of nature with others in a range of vibrant, luxurious and colourful homeware. It’s designed to make you stand back and to be grateful for the beauty of life.

I hope these designs uplift you and increase your appreciation of the beauty of the world that surrounds you.
