Wendy Bell Designs to exhibit at BCTF

Wendy Bell Designs is launching a new collection for BCTF Online called “Winchester Blue”. It contains 32 greeting cards covering a range of occasion such as birthdays, Father’s Day, anniversary, sympathy etc. It’s a male orientated range but will also appeal to women for quite a few of the designs. Each card is 120mm x 170mm, fully barcoded, blank inside, digitally printed onto FSC accredited board and is supplied with white envelopes.

Wendy says: “The entire collection was created as a result of giving our design studio a makeover. During the clear out I found an old sketchbook from my final degree show at Winchester School of Art which was back in 2003. A lot of the pages within the sketchbook were navy/black ink mark making which had then been used to put on screen-printing screens. As a result I decided to combine old with new and photographed certain pages to use within this collection as well as having created some new paintings using alcohol inks.

“The reason for it being a male orientated collection, quite simply, is because it was inspired by my dad who I haven’t seen for 19 months as a result of the pandemic – he used to live on a street named “Winchester Avenue”. Between the street name and my Winchester School of Art sketchbook, “Winchester Blue” seemed a fitting name for the collection”.
