Nineteen fantastic new garden and pet product innovations have been confirmed as this year’s winners of the coveted Glee New Product Showcase, at a special award presentation organised and run by Garden Trade News at Glee. Hundreds of entries were received across the 17 categories, with industry suppliers eager to present the fruits of their intensive new product research and development, carried out over the past 18 months of lockdown.
This year’s New Product Awards also had a new format, with “The Pitches” for each category being made to judges before a live audience on The Stage content theatre. The first round of pitches took place on the opening day of the show, Tuesday September 14th, from 3:00pm – 5:00pm, followed by a second round on Wednesday September 15th from 10:00am – 12:30pm.
After being carefully judged and selected by an expert panel of judges, who were looking for excellence in quality and design, strong environmental credentials, pricing and retail potential, along with the all-important innovation factor, the winners were revealed by Glee Event Director, Matthew Mein and GTN Editor, Trevor Pfeiffer, at 5:00pm on Wednesday 15th September.

Three additional winners were also selected, covering sustainability, Best of British and overall best product. The winners were:
