LifestyleGarden is a Sustainable Champion!

Pioneering outdoor furniture brand, LifestyleGarden®, part of the ScanCom International family, is thrilled to announce that it has won the Best Sustainable Product award for its Nassau range powered by Social Plastic®, at the 2022 edition of SOLEX (12th-14th July, NEC, Birmingham).

Taking eco-friendly, ethical materials to a whole new level, the unique recycled material supplied via Plastic Bank’s amazing Social Plastic® scheme helps clear the world’s waterways of plastic pollution, whilst supporting local communities who collect the waste for recycling, helping to lift them out of poverty. Up to 2.08billion plastic bottles have been recovered for processing since the inception of Social Plastic by Plastic Bank®, whilst more than 110,000 people have been improved. as a result of their involvement in the scheme.

Commenting on the prestigious award, ScanCom CEO, Stig Maasbol said: “We are extremely proud to have won the Best Sustainable Product award for our new Nassau range constructed from Social Plastic. This is another victory in difficult times for both LifestyleGarden and the environment – we couldn’t be more pleased about this industry recognition for our commitment to sustainable manufacturing.”

This crucial recognition of LifestyleGarden’s commitment to the highest possible standards of sustainable manufacturing follows on from the Best New Product award scooped at SOLEX 2019, for the ground-breaking DuraOcean® collection made from salvaged and recycled marine plastics.

Throughout this year’s SOLEX, LifestyleGarden® demonstrated how it works with the very best designers, manufacturing and material innovations to create beautiful, design-led and sustainable furniture collections, which seek to encourage a circular economy that helps protect people, the planet and vulnerable communities. LifestyleGarden has never had to compromise on quality or style through its use of recycled and other sustainable materials, in furniture ranges which can also be dismantled and recycled at the end of their life.
