The Coast is Clear for Giving & Living

Autumn might have brought a chill to the air but plans are hotting up for the next edition of Giving & Living. We’re excited to report that specialists in coastal gifts and souvenirs are lining up to join the premier event for this key sector of the home and gift trade.

Brand new for the 2023 show is family business DM Gould, one of the UK’s largest importers and wholesale distributors of toys and plush, along with a huge selection of beach products. With over 35 years’ experience in the trade, their brands include Fun Leisure, Fun Leisure Huggables, Britannia Rocks and Reflections (Eyewear by Fun Leisure). This is a hugely exciting addition for Giving & Living and we are thrilled to welcome them to the show.

We can also reveal a host of other names that will join the roster of exhibitors in 2023:

Based near the sea in Lyme Regis, Dorset, The Shoal has a very special collection of handmade marine-themed crafts from Sicily, including unique ceramic fish and other sea creatures, as well as paintings and other artworks. These would make a wonderful addition to any retail business that loves to celebrate the sea.

More beautiful hand-crafted products can be found at the Sandscript Cards, which was founded in 2007 and is now based in Devon. The cards feature messages drawn in the sand and then beautifully photographed and made into greetings. The collection includes cards in the Welsh and French languages, as well as English.

Then we have Quay Traders, which over the years has become a true bellweather exhibitor for Giving & Living. This fabulous wholesale supplier has an amazing collection of coastal-themed products that will delight visitors, including a beautiful range of Decorative Driftwood home accents, Coral Resin ornaments and a huge array of gifts, souvenirs, other homeware items, curios and niknaks to choose from. This once again promises to be an unmissable stand for coastal enthusiasts.

Timelessly classic Nautical gifts, clothes, tools, gadgets and collectables will be presented by Nauticalia. This wonderful company offers an extensive ocean-themed collection, which ranges from luxurious ltd edition ship models and finely crafted nautical instruments to collectable ships in bottles, Cowes Calendars, fashion accessories and apparel for men, women and children.

One of the best-known names in outdoor toys, Wilton Bradley is another favourite fixture at Giving & Living. Their extensive brand portfolios includes Bestway, Xootz, Osprey, Mi-Nik Karaoke, Academy of Music, Urban Beach, Lay-Z Spa, Hydro-Force, ClearWater, Playhouse, an officially licensed VW licensed range of beach and festival products, plus and officially licensed children’s ranges created in partnership with Great British Bake Off winner, Nadiya Hussain and popular BBC programme, The Great British Sewing Be.

As an important gift category with enormous scope for celebrating all things seaside related, jewellery has always had a spotlight at Giving & Living. High Tide Jewellery is a key exhibitor in this category, with an extensive collection of bangles, bracelets, brooches, chains, drop earrings, hoops, necklaces, pendants, rings and other items created by artisans from around the world.

The seaside wouldn’t be the seaside without a stick of rock or other sweet treats to enjoy from the pier, beach or boardwalk. Kandy Kandy has no end of treats to tempt you, from a huge range of rock novelties and gourmet rock in all kinds of delicious and unusual flavours to lollypops and fun shaped mallows.
