Scandi Chic homeware by NINA D

Nina D launched her independent business in 2020 with a range of high quality tableware, showcasing hand illustrated designs inspired by her Swedish upbringing and family traditions. Based here in the UK where she lives with her husband and children, Nina is delighted to launch this new Vintage collection with fabrics she discovered at their Swedish summer house.

Nina says: “When I travel back home to Stockholm to see my Father, we always spend a few days at our Swedish summerhouse, a two hours drive west from the capital and the first property my parents bought early on in their relationship. On one of the visits, I discovered a green and blue floral piece of fabric which my Mother had bought for the summer house in 1975. I knew instantly that I had to bring this back to life.

“Named Blommor 1975 (Flowers 1975) I photographed the fabric which has been transformed onto placemats and coasters, handmade in England with a gloss melamine finish. Alongside this new line, I am also introducing a limited edition of fabric placemats and table runners in collaboration with a local seamstress. I am immensely proud to yet again share my personal story, honouring my Mother Ida-Lilja, who is the true spark behind my homeware business NINA D”.
