Doormats expert Primeur to make Spring Fair debut

Poised to enter the halls of Spring Fair for the first time is a doormat specialist with a difference. Backed by 55 years of expertise in this field, a track record of six million mats sold annually and exciting new manufacturing and design partnerships, British company, Primeur, is here to help you rethink everything you know about doormats. And you can see it all at Spring Fair 2024.

The Primeur team will be found in Hall 8, stand A50-B51, where its extensive doormat collection will be on display. Crowd-pleasing coir designs and classic washable styles will all naturally be on offer, but the real highlight is set to be the latest innovation joining the line-up in 2024.

Look out for Primeur’s new sustainable range, which breathes new life into 100% recycled rubber and bottle tops to create a stylish yet functional range of barriers and doormats. Elsewhere, a new collaboration with artist Bree Merryn will bring to market mats with gallery-quality prints of pets and wildlife, whilst a new festive collection will complete the 2024 launches.

Jenny Douthwaite, Primeur MD, said: “We’ve long been making doormats but for 2024 we believe we have curated a range that offers retailers increased value. By carefully assessing the current state of the market we have been able to identify gaps, forecast future trends and better understand how doormats can journey from a necessary purchase to one that is driven by the ability to update or refresh interior décor.

“This way of viewing and shopping mats is still emerging amongst shoppers, but we believe it has the potential to entirely shake up the world of doormats. It’s an exciting proposition and we can’t wait to show Spring Fair visitors everything we have put in place to support this transition.”
