Fox Under The Moon is The People’s Choice

The Giftware Association has revealed that greetings card publisher, Fox Under the Moon, is winner of The People’s Choice Award, a category in The Gift of the Year Awards 2024. Illustrator, Stacey McNeill, captured the hearts of the public, securing the prestigious award for the second consecutive year with her ‘One Step at a Time’ collection.

Runners up in The People’s Choice category are Beevive and Little Dog Laughed, who were recognised for their outstanding contributions and achievements.

Stacey McNeill commented: “I can’t believe we have been fortunate enough to win The People’s Choice Awards two years running, Winning the Gift of the Year People’s Choice Award in 2023 really put us on the map. It was the jumping-off point for us being noticed and taken more seriously in the trade world. This award reflects the personal connection I have with our customers, and it’s been an incredible 12 months for us.”

Sarah Ward, CEO of The Giftware Association, highlighted the significance of The People’s Choice Award, noting the record-breaking public engagement with over 8,000 votes cast. She emphasised the importance of the bond between brands and their consumers, particularly in today’s challenging economic climate. Speaking at the Harrogate Home and Gift event, she said:

“This award is a testament to the power of connection between brands and consumers,” Ward stated. “The dedication of our shortlisted companies to their products and customers has been truly inspiring, showcasing the ingenuity and resilience that define our industry.”

Sarah also addressed the evolving trends in the giftware and retail sectors, noting the growing emphasis on personalisation, sustainability, and the integration of technology in retail experiences. She reiterated The Giftware Association’s commitment to supporting its members in navigating these trends and fostering industry growth.

The Giftware Association also announced the official launch of Gift of the Year 2025, which has over 70 judges already signed up.
