As Glee marked its monumental 50th anniversary last week, its 50-year heroes were revealed on the show floor. Voted for by Glee’s retailer and supplier audience, these ‘heroes’ represent the most iconic figures, products, and innovations that have shaped the sector over the past five decades.
This milestone anniversary presented a unique opportunity to reflect on the people, products, and plants that have made an indelible mark on the garden retail industry, and with four categories to vote for there was plenty of debate and discussion as people voted for their favourite.
Most Influential People of the last 50 years
Recognising those individuals whose vision and leadership have had a lasting impact on the industry. This category saw four names gain the most votes:

Characters of Glee’s 50 Years
Celebrating those who have brought energy, passion, and personality to Glee over the years. Receiving the most votes were:

- Boyd Douglas-Davies
