This beautiful homeware range from award-winning designer, Nina D, is lovingly hand-crafted here in Britain.
Whilst designs are inspired by Nina’s Swedish upbringing and family traditions, she says: “I am immensely proud to work with independent British manufacturers for my placemats and coasters”. Each product is handcrafted using sustainably sourced eucalyptus wood and cork backing. The hand illustrated artwork is protected by a heat-resistant gloss melamine coating.
“Each design,” Nina continues saying, “is meticulously hand-illustrated and inspired by a place or a person close to my heart back home in Sweden. During my Set & Costume design degree, I made the decision to always create my art by hand using watercolour and carefully selected paper. I have not once tweaked my artwork with a computer, instead I create depth by layering to produce a striking two dimensional effect.
