As one of Europe’s premiere creative hubs, renowned for excellence and originality in art and design, a trip to The Netherlands might be the breath of fresh air you need this season. With almost 15,000 m2 of exhibition space and more than 450 brands – most of them yet to be discovered by the British retail trade – showUP is a great place to source brands and products if newness is your mission.
With its fresh, contemporary vibe and low-key atmosphere, showUP is more than just a buying event. With barista’s, food trucks and plenty of comfortable areas to indulge in blue sky thinking, the show lends itself to trendspotting and networking in a relaxing environment that is a hive of innovation and creativity.
Sustainability is not merely a sector at the show, but a standard feature for the many if not most of the exhibitors, partly thanks to the high Dutch and Scandinavian consciousness when it comes to environmental factors.
The event takes place at the Brabanthallen in Hertogenbosch, located in the south of the Netherlands, easily accessible from either Schipol or Eindhoven airports. For those who don’t like flying, there is the Eurostar from London to Amsterdam.
Whilst there is still plenty of time to book your transport and hotel, if you can’t make it to this addition, you can still register and receive updates on editions to come.
