I feel like it’s great to get up close and have a really good look at products and to talk to the faces behind the business. We’re looking forward to the show, to be able to showcase our growing repertoire of Devon made products, and to be able to talk to stockists and understand what they’re looking for in a product range”.
Jen Winnett, of Jen Winnett Art (top), echoed the positive sentiment, saying: “We’re excited to bring our best-selling eco-friendly cards and art prints to the Giving & Living trade show in January. Our animal and nature-inspired, sustainable products are perfect for retailers seeking unique and high-quality greetings cards. As the first major show of the year, it’s the ideal place to showcase our commitment to sustainability and connect with those who value exclusive, environmentally conscious products.”
Mike Anderson of show organiser, Hale Events, comments: “Nurturing brands, companies and products that are Designed & Made in Britain is an essential component of our work as a trade show. Not only is supporting more sustainable homegrown brands desirable from an ethical perspective and in terms of preserving circular local economies, it is also what retail buyers and their customers are crying out for.
“Our country has an incredibly rich pool of design talent and we are proud to offer them an effective and affordable platform where they can reach a strong and diverse audience of independent retailers and important leisure and heritage destinations. We are delighted that so many British makers have chosen to join Giving & Living in our 60th year and greatly look forward to seeing them inspire visitors with their latest creations”.
